Helmut Hanika, Hanika founder, was born in 1932 in Schönbach. Helmut learned from his father the construction of violins and years later was entirely devoted to guitars. In 1966 he was awarded the Diploma of Master Craftsman in Nuremberg.

Currently Armin Hahika, son of the founder runs the company, which specializes in building high-end guitars, completely handmade.

His dedication and obsession to get the best sound and comfort for performers, has led to a level of perfection and sound quality widely recognized in the guitar world.

Today Hanika brand name is synonymous of high quality guitars and their instruments are in the hands of great musicians from around the world.
