This guitar is an evolution of the professional guitar Antonio Picado model 62.
This guitar is made of Canadian cedar for the top and high quality Madagascar rosewood for back and sides.
Madagascar rosewood provides an extra of quality for sound and tone.

Although this model is called “Double Top” it is actually a “Double Back” guitar.

That is, the guitar is built with excellent Madagascar Rosewood back and additionally has an interior cedar back, leaving a space between both backs.

This construction gets that the guitarist, when he is playing and the guitar is resting to the body, rests the guitar on the external back and does not turn off the vibration and the fluid of the sound wave, resulting to significantly increase the power and projection of the sound.

We could say that the effect of this "Double Top" is similar to the effect of a guitar with a Double Top made of Nomex, but unlike this one, a completely natural and traditional sound is achieved, but with greater power and projection and longer sustain.
