Aurora Orsini - Guitar Concert



Aurora Orsini is an italian guitarist born in 1997.
As a soloist she played in Italy, Hungary, Spain and England.

In 2023 she finished a postgraduate master in “Classical Guitar Interpretation” at the University of Alicante (Spain), thanks to a scholarship offered by Guitarras Alhambra. She studied with David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Pablo Márquez, Xavier Diaz-Latorre y Sergio Assad. In the same year she won a scholarship by the International Guitar Foundation (IGF) of London.

In Italy she attended two Master Degrees in guitar performance at "Ottorino Respigi Conservatoire" and at "Luigi Boccherini Conservatoire”, under the guidance of Giampaolo Bandini. She obtained her first Master Degree at the young age of twenty.

In 2017, thanks to the Erasmus Program, she studied in Budapest's Liszt Academy with Joszef Eotvos. In 2021 she finished a postgraduate specialization at "Arrigo Boito Conservatoire” (Parma) under the tuition of Lorenzo Micheli, Ismo Eskelinen, Oscar Ghiglia, Stefano Grondona and Massimo Felici.

She studied at the Chigiana Academy under the tuition of Oscar Ghiglia and Eliot Fisk obtaining the best students’ diploma. She also had the privilege to participate to master classes led by Leo Brouwer, Francisco Bernier, Margarita Escarpa, Carlo Marchione, Thomas Muller-Pering, Raphaella Smiths, Tilman Hoppstock, Petra Polackova, Franz Halasz, Dariusz Kupinski, Gerard Reichenbach, Jorgos Panetsos and others.

She collaborates with several orchestras, playing classical music, italian operas and film music. In October 2020 Aurora won the second place for the guitarist position at the “Teatro de Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” in Florence. Consequently she played in Verdi’s Otello under the direction of Zubin Mehta.

She is active in chamber music and she currently collaborates in a duo with the soprano Sofia Celenza. Estra Duo specialized their programme in two differents fields: XX Century Music from Manuel de Falla, Benjamin Britten, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Early Music such as Alonso Mudarra and John Dowland.
