Lationoamerican Duo
Lorena López & Harry Mendoza
Lorena López and Harry Mendoza have performed both as soloists and as a duo in some of Peru’s most prestigious concert halls. Their career highlights include performances at the Gran Teatro Nacional, the Teatro Municipal, and the San Isidro Sonoro series hosted by the Municipality of San Isidro, as well as at the Casa Cultural Mercedes Ayarza. Beyond traditional concert venues, they have also brought their artistry to diverse social settings, performing in prisons and schools across Lima.
Their music has resonated in some of the most iconic cultural spaces of Peru, such as the Museo Casa Concha, the Museo Casa Inka Garcilaso de la Vega, and the Teatro Municipal in Cusco, as well as the Monasterio de Santa Catalina and the Museo Municipal in Arequipa.
Internationally, they have graced the stages of venues such as Casa de la Libertad and Centro Cultural La Sombrerería in Sucre, the Instituto Eduardo Laredo in Cochabamba (Bolivia), the Museo de Arte Sacro in Querétaro (Mexico), Castello d'Albertis in Genoa (Italy), and Casa de los Tres Mundos in Nicaragua. Their performances have also taken them to various theaters across Colombia, multiple cities in Florida and North Carolina (USA), and renowned theaters in China, including the Suzhou Bay Grand Theater, Shenzhou Concert Hall, Xi’an Concert Hall, and the Luoyang Guitar Festival.
Recently, the Dúo Latinoamericano has collaborated with the Arequipa Symphony Orchestra, the Cusco Symphony Orchestra, Ensamble Artifex, and the Orfeón San Juan Bautista of Puerto Rico, among others. Thanks to their versatility and deep commitment to music, the duo has established itself as one of the most promising ensembles in South America. Their growing international presence has been recognized with an award from the Ministry of Culture of Peru, which will support their upcoming tour across Europe and China in 2025.
