KEITH RODRIGUEZ
Guitarist Keith Rodríguez studied classical guitar with distinguished maestros Pepe and Celedonio Romero at the University of California, San Diego, where he earned top honors. He later completed his postgraduate studies with maestros Demetrio Ballesteros and José Luis Rodrigo at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Atocha in Madrid.
He has performed as a soloist in Spain, the United States, Mexico, and Portugal, participating in various festivals such as the San Diego Mozart Festival and Música en El Escorial. He has appeared as a soloist with the Schola Camerata orchestra and has also been involved in various chamber music projects with guitar and voice, violin, and cello, among others.
His album, "Guitar Perspectives," showcases his extensive and virtuoso repertoire, featuring guitar music from five centuries selected from Spain and Latin America. In recent years, he has completed his musical career as director of the award-winning John Henry Newman Polyphonic Choir.
MARIA PRADO
María Prado Vega holds a degree in cello from the Conservatory of Music. She furthered her studies with the Galician Youth Symphony Orchestra and the School of Advanced Musical Studies of Santiago de Compostela, where she gained experience in orchestral and chamber music.
She consolidated her experience as an arranger and composer by composing the music for several theater and circus shows with the companies "Zen del Sur" (Heian, winner of the Best Cabaret/Circus Show Award and winner of "TALENT MADRID 2013" and the Best Show Award "Noches FETÉN 2014"), the "Teatro para un instante" company ("Mariana Pineda, Poemas y Canciones"), and the "La Lumbre" company ("Hasta la peineta").
She is a member of Akafree, a free jazz group with a 20-year career, along with Chefa Alonso, Jorge Frías, and Fernando Lamas, and Molimo with Cova Villegas.
She currently leads the multidisciplinary free improvisation orchestra “Farmacia 13”.
